by G.A. Scheinoha

How could you
feign an open mind
with such charity
and clarity
of opinion,
a loveable,
arms spread
wide spirit?
When you were
anything but that.
Point of view snapped
shut tightly as a clam
trapping us both in a
sham, a shell with
no way out
and none
forward.

G.A. Scheinoha is a worn out literary lion who the hyenas haven’t brought down yet. Widely published in the small press, he now dabbles in guerrilla journalism on Facebook, a column for his hometown paper, The Campbellsport News but remains a poet after writing more than 2000 in forty years.
