Maltravieso
by Billy Greene
Sudden, humid dim power out The candlelight
lifts to carve us out the stormblur
in skin & dark I offer my hands
as grackle feathers to the waxy flash
Indigo Iridescent Shooting the shit
all shrill & throat Sky’s tectonics
are pulsing a sonar to find our cave
-waltz I cannot talk
while I map your shadow in shadow
Can you hear my touch —its heat mere fractals
from you— I won’t ask whose wrists
cracked or breath hitched but what painting
does the noise of body —our lightning—
locate
