The Exhibition Review

Poetry Apr 24, 2026

by Takoma Parker

I went to an exhibition. I saw a show. I looked, it. looked back. At. me we. made eye contact. For a moment I. hid from it for a. Moment I caught it. Just for a. Moment I. saw. it just. for a moment. And it was very. Nice and I liked it. very much and I. went home, and. laughed about. it. And hopefully. I’ll forget about. It and I went. Home and I fell asleep. Alone in my bed. And hopefully it. Will fade. That’s. The bargain. between hope and. despair Someday we’ll get. Out of here the only. Reason to keep going. To keep showing. Up to. this.

Shhhh. This is a library.
